French possible Leopold Lambert Automaton “Musical Flower Seller” overall height is 21.5″ (55cm). Wood c1900s Lambert 26cm square base is covered in red flocked material and has original key. Full length girl wearing blue dress with silk blouse, Antique petticoat, high lace collar. Original white felt covered legs and blue shoes, surrounded by flowers, and holding two flower baskets. Activated, the music plays, and the girl’s right arm moves up/down, her head fully rotates around and up/down. Bisque head is hand signed ‘Marsh’ with blue glass inserted eyes, vertical brown lower lashes, feathered brows, an open mouth with a row of porcelain upper teeth, long brown human hair wig, and a cardboard pate.
