French Dressel & Kister & Co. Half Doll Lamp c1900s, overall 15″ (38cm). Arms away Dressel & Kister half doll 5.5″ (14cm) with blue bischofstab mark, has a turned and tilted head with raked hair, a central braid and a blue Alice band, elite painted features with brown eyes, black surround, red lidline, two tone striated brows, closed mouth with longer darker centerline. She sits atop the lamp shade and has an organdie dress with layers of ruffles covering the shade. Three wire struts, one needs re-soldering, are attached to 15cm Pedestal with gold shoes and the base is stamped ‘Paris GM France’. Old light bulb is attached above the pedestal and lights up the shade, and one family owned French Half Doll lamp.
